Property & Casualty Refund Policy
WLS Insurance Agency, a licensed insurance agency that helps people compare insurance quotes and buy home and auto insurance policies from insurance carriers, has the following refund policies:

There are no refunds after the policy has started on policies with a term of fewer than six months. All policies are eligible for cancellation and a full refund if the policy has not started. The insured is required to contact the company before the start date of the policy to request the cancellation/refund. No refunds are processed during holidays or weekends. If you need to cancel a policy after hours or on a holiday, please email us at agency@wlsia.com.

Semi-annual and annual policies are issued at a discounted rate. All policies state “No Refunds, No Cancellations”.
Semi-annual and annual policies are eligible for a “substitution” should the insured purchase a new vehicle or otherwise, need to change the insured vehicle. A prorated credit will be issued for the remainder of the policy to be canceled and applied toward a new semi-annual or annual policy for the new vehicle. The new vehicle must be in the same name as the insured on the policy to be “substituted.”

Commercial Credit Card Refund Policy
Subject to the conditions described below, when a customer makes a credit card payment on a policy and that policy either cancels leaving unearned premium, or we owe the customer a return of premium because of a coverage reduction or overpayment, we will process a refund. This refund will be returned to the customer’s credit card or refunded in the form of a check mailed to the insured listed on the policy, within 30 days of the date we become aware of the refund or within 30 days of the date the customer requests the refund, whichever is sooner.

We have the option of retaining as a policy credit, any refund that is the greater of $100 or 5% of the policy premium. This credit will be applied to future policy changes or renewals. We will notify the customer of the credit and refund the credit at the request of the customer. If the refund amount is for the full amount of the credit card payment we have the option of making the refund through the credit card company as a credit to the customer’s credit card.

We will refund anything over $5.00 to the insured and will not bill under $10 (9.99) on canceled policies.

Health & Life Refund Policy
WLS Insurance Agency, a licensed insurance agency that helps people compare and enroll in individual and family insurance plans, including group medical, dental, Medicare plans, has the following refund policies for applications and courses:

Insurance applications

You can cancel your application at any time during the underwriting process and you are not obligated to buy a plan. If you are charged for the first premium or your check is cashed and you are denied coverage or cancel your application, you will receive a refund. Some insurance companies may charge a non-refundable application fee.

Courses

You are eligible for a full refund for courses if you request it within two weeks of your payment date or two weeks after the first session of the course, whichever is later.

WLS Insurance Agency Notary Seal Stamps and Embossers are guaranteed for your commission term. If it stops functioning correctly due to normal wear (ink replacement not included), we will replace it at no charge. If a product refund is requested, we will refund 100% of the product price. Shipping costs are not refundable.

All personalized items are only eligible for a refund if the item:

• included a manufacturing error,
• was damaged upon receipt, or
• was lost during shipping.

Notary Stamps and Embossers
100% refundable.

Notary Journals, Books, Forms and Other Supplies
100% refundable.

State Supply Packages
100% refundable if the training course (if included) has not been started.

Insurance & Bonds
Errors and Omissions Insurance
100% refundable if you cancel the policy within 30 days of activation.

Notary Bonds
100% refundable if the bond has not been filed with your county or state.
